The only other thing that I see that has not been mentioned that is only a pain in the back side is that you will have to either copy your profile from your other computer where you played BF2 or have to deal with the annoying speaker telling you that this is your teams equipment...

I just had to deal with that... for one day, my Walkerxes12 profile got eaten when my BF2 crashed to desktop.. retrieved the account, but since the profile got wiped, I had to listen to tip after tip.. "To join a squad, click..."

I hate that... especially when it tells you to "hit 9 to deploy your parachute" when you've bound it to a different key, and you go splat in the ensuing button mash.

LOL! That's why I leave it at 9...

That's probably the one area that I've not made 2142 and BF2 controlls the same as possible...
