Thread: Before complaining about EA server issues on 2142

Just a FYI , your accounts are connected to GAMESPY , and these last outages occurred on Tuesday and Wednesday , same days GAME SPY does server maintenance , and apparently from what i have learned GAMESPY had a big server outage , blame EA for linking the profiles to GAME SPY , blame GAME SPY for having vulnerable server issues , this happened last year too , GAME SPY not EA was to blame. :2 This entire problem is unlikely related to the upcoming patch 1.50 , but I believe EA took the opportunity to do some server hardware upgrading while Game Spy had everyone all screwed up. based on my "research" and conjecture from what I read elsewhere.

EA does business with gamespy to manage the ranked system and player logins.....so they are just as culpable as gamespy is for the outages.

Same would go for blaming Ford for installing factory firestone tires on your car, only to have them explode because they are defective. Sure...ford didn't make the tire....but it was their choice to use it, and their customers they sold it too.

TRUE, I believe my post says to that effect , EA can be blamed for relying on GAME SPY for profiles. :2

This registration attempt has been allowed and the account has been permanently banned.
