I pose a question and then you insult me? I respect you guys, you run a good server. But I don't think by asking a question about what to do when a rare event like this comes up, is due for an insult.

Again, I am seeking clarification about what to do when this happens. I think that helps regular gamers like me who play in your server a lot out.

That wasn't an insult. It was a statement of fact. If you pull the trigger instead of pushing the screen cap button, you HAVE become part of the problem. And if someone else posted the SS and info for the person than he may well have already been taken care of, and as it's behind the scenes you WOULDN'T have a clue about it (untill you noticed that a certain player hasn't been back on the server for some time.. or see a new Unban request).

And as Civil said, multiple people have now clarified what the proper thing to do is in that situation.

It's simple, really. Self preservation. Don't get yourself banned over an asshat that's not worth getting banned over.

If I was trying to file a complaint about RigII then what Commander said would be a statement of fact. With the amount of "Hackzzzzzz or TKKK" posts that are going on without any proof to back them up, I can understand Commander's aggravation. But I thought it was clear that this was not a complaint against a player. So yes, it felt like an insult. And like y'all have said in other topics, even if a person did not mean it in that way, that is still how it comes across.

I respect y'all a lot. I have seriously read over what y'all believe on the matter. And while I still have some minor quarrels about it, I must accept y'alls views on it because it is your server. I would like for my questions and replies to not be taken out of context. I am not trying to argue with you. I ask questions that concern me, and that I would like to see thoughtful and healthy dialog on. Isn't that why these forums exist?

I have noticed that many people have said what to do. And after my second post I have not made an effort to argue against that. I responded to what Commander said in his post and further clarified why I asked the question in the first place, in my third post. I did not argue with y'alls logic, and have accepted y'alls policy on the matter.

You had valid questions, and they've, I hope, been answered for you. No insults were intended and any implication that you're a problem player in the works was not what we meant to get across.

You see, we WANT you to know what the right thing to do is. So you'll do it. You see, we want this to be YOUR server too. I don't mean mod/admin type yours necessarily (but then, you never really know, do you?), but I mean a place that you feel you can call home base. To most of us, this is OUR place, not THEIR place that we occasionally camp out in.
