Victory and Defeat

Just wondering if anyone knows at what point you get credited with a win or loss. I've joined servers several times where the game is almost lost and there's no chance to pull it out (conquest game where the team I just joined has 6 and the other has 230... or something like that) or I jump on, choose my kit and it goes straight to the Defeat screen. Do I get dinged for those? Of course on the upside there's the times you get the easy win too but that seems to be fewer and farther between.

I have no idea about that for sure. I think it does register as a win/loss. There is a downside to it if the point does count then that drops your score per round ratio. So if you join a losing game thats a double whammy.

If you didn't spawn in, you won't take the loss. If you did spawn in, you will be credited with a loss. Also, if you were on the team and leave before end of round, you'll also be credited with the win/loss.

I just wait to spawn. If I see a score of 20 or less against 120+, I figure there's not much point. It will just serve to frustrate me out the door and make for an annoying night of play. Kinda puts a damper on play when you're completely snowballed out the door.

I've never paid attention to the count, though. Always been interested in how that works. Might try the EA forums for direct confirmation if there's any doubt to WileE's response.
