A bunch of very good pubs in an all random lobby where everyone talked and not one person quit the whole game.
You hit a gold mine, man.

I can't even get a Realism Versus lobby going, and the Versus games I did manage to join were full of people who refused to talk.

Me: Do you ever play Realism Versus?
    Friend: Nope, just regular Versus.
Me: What's wrong with Realism? Seriously, no one ever plays Realism!
Friend: It requires teamwork. And constant communication.
Me: Well, isn't that pretty much what the rest of the entire game requires? O.o
    Friend: ...
Me: I mean, you need teamwork in regular Versus, and you usually need some sort of team chemistry for it to work. And you need communication. How is that any different from regular Versus?
Friend: You need to know where your teammates are.
Me: And... you would need to know where they are in regular Versus too. You need to be aware of where they are in regular Versus. Seriously, how is this any different?
Friend: ... ^_^" it requires too much thinking.
    Me: -_-

I'm not used to no glows, and quite frankly I suck at it.
Someone's afraid of a little challenge. It doesn't take that long to get used to no-glows. But to each his own.

In another note, I had a blast with Bleed-Out. Realism Bleed-Out would rock my socks. ;P

When I go out pubbin, I always look for lobbies with mics to be against, because chances are they are friends so it might be a good game. Unfortunately, 90 percent of these looking lobbies still turn out to be shit, friends always find a way to ragequit all together when something dont go their way.

You hit a jackpot. Every game I go into its either HAY LETS RAGE or HAY LETS GIVE UP AND START CAMPING BECAUSE WE KEEP GETTING OWNED!

I should go back to playing friends only or 4v4s even though they have their ups and downs for reasons I wont explain as to not get off topic.

I see that in regular Versus. And I play Versus maybe once a month because all my friends are Scavenge junkies. :P I used to like Versus for maybe the first month or so when I first joined, but the community turned me off. People can be so hostile and arrogant.

Yeah, forget Realism Versus. You're lucky to play a full game of regular Versus with even 50% of the lobby staying for two entire maps.

You guys are totally right, I definitely got very lucky. It's incredibly rare to find a good RVS, even more rare than regular VS. Put simply, it's why I don't play that mode exclusively. There are never any good games.

Ftr, I play with pepsiman frequently, he is definitely good enough to play RVS. He doesn't talk enough, but honestly, he is good enough that he would pick it up quickly.

The fundamentals are all the same. It's just that the biggest survivor handicaps are eliminated.

I don't want to argue confogl vs RVS. A very good team is a very good team. Period.

But RVS is a very fun and challenging mode that is without any hesistaiton of doubt, vastly under utilized.

I don't know how "I don't play Realism Versus, so I'm not used to no glows and I'm not good at it" means I'm afraid of a challenge. Are you great at everything that you don't play? Neither am I. Nobody plays it so I've never gotten around to it and I probably won't, so, I will never be good at it. I'm not going to jump right in either. I didn't jump right into Versus before I was decent at the game, I'm doing the same for Realism.

I know this may come as a shock to some(you may want to brace yourself), but I try to get enjoyment out of video games. I'm not afraid of a challenge, but I'm not going to add more stress to my life to prove how awesome I am at pushing buttons.

... Sorry about the rant, It's nothing against you personally, no hard feelings, I just can't stand that kind of statement.

To get back on topic, finding those kind of people on L4D2 is quite rare. It's always a blast when playing with people who play well and just enjoy a good time, winning or losing. No amount of mistakes take away from the fun, you just shrug it off and keep joking. Sure, nobody likes to lose, but it's just a game. While these games are few and far between, they are well worth the wait.

I wasn't even thinking when I posted earlier. I didn't mean for it to go into a debate over the two modes, it's just always confused me when it came to the logic behind that.
