Whenever a jockey grabs me, no matter what I do, I can never influence where he goes at all, whoever is controlling the jockey is in complete control.

But sometimes when I am a jockey and a grab someone, they seem to be in much more control than I am... I can't actually get the jockey to move in the direction I want, it moves wherever they want (i'm talking about players obivously, as opposed to grabbing bots).

How do they do this? Because it's really quite annoying :/

I don't know if this will help, cause it's obvious, but the left stick controls them (I used to just hold up on the left stick and control them with the right stick). It's also not a good idea to go in a straight line, as they'll know where you're pulling them and try going against it. Try moving in random directions towards the place you're trying to go, that way they have no idea what direction they need to go against.

I don't have a problem controlling them most of the time, it's just sometimes i'll come across a player who for some reason is able to control where it's going, even though he's the one who's been jockeyed.. :/

i have the same thing happen to me, i will the jockey but the human can control where he goes or i will be the human and the jockey controls where i go and i hold the left joy stick but doesnt do anything
