2142 1.5 Patch News?

My guess is that Vista does not support this. I have un-installed and reinstalled. It was fun while it lasted but I am going to wait till TTP updates with the real 1.5 patch when it releases.

Weird. Worked like a charm for me. Played 1.5 earlier and now just finished about 3 hours of 1.4. I'm using Vista.

Well this is weird. The same symptoms showed up on my computer. It wouldnt start 1.4 for some reason. After deleting profiles and making sure all prior configs are deleted, i got the game to start. That didnt fix Angell's though, not sure what the problem is. I do think its the Video config. Delete both profile files in the 2142 and 2142beta folders. Also delete the 2142 profile in "My Documents". You can keep your control config, game config and audio config, i checked, they dont effect the start up process. the problem is persistent when you import the video config.

i had to delete the entire 2142 folder from documents. then try again. Didn't work...deleted it 3 times (since it makes a new one) before it worked.
