Damn millwall, I thought YOU were cheating? HAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!! I have to admit, I have felt that I have been dying WAY TO EASY the last several weeks. Dummy me, I thought that the anti-cheat thing was a guarantee that those who try to cheat would be banned nearly instantly by the cheat revealing itself to the anti cheat-software.

    Ballsyone,

I would say punk buster make quite a bit of money from far from perfect software. There of course is no alternative which always makes a company sloppy when there is no alternative.

There are some great players on this server and one of the reasons I play it. There of late have been some suspect players. From what I can see that is being delt with.

I'm not exactly sure how it works but in general, the cheater buys illegal code that effectively automatically aims his weapon at enemy targets. They don't even have to be in sight to be killed. When you watch a video of one in action you'll typically see the aimbotter laying prone in an area with clear line of sight to densely populated areas. The muzzle of their guns snaps from target to target in a jerky motion.

In your case, it was likely a lag spike and/or the poor job BF2 does in player animation.
From what i gather though, everyone (admin's included), need to have a cup of shut-the-$%^-up, take a few to chill... - Bunni

Am I wrong or was I just someones target practice?
Check out this site for details on BF2 weapons.

    http://wiki.bf2s.com/weapons/comparison

The bottom line is that each bullet from each weapon has an assigned damage value. Each player has some level of body armor depending upon their kit. Medics, Engineers, Spec Ops and Snipers are lightly armored. Support and Assault are heavily armored therefore it takes more shots to bring them down. When shooting lightly armored targets, you must do 100 damage to critically wound them (take them down). An L85A1 does 34 damage per shot landed; therefore it take 3 shots to critically wound a lightly armored enemy. A G36E does 32 damage so it take 4 shots to critically wound a lightly armored enemy. You must do 151 damage to a heavily armored target to critically wound them.

The other factor is headshots. Headshots get a 3X multiplication factor on damage. Therefore, if you shoot a fully healthy enemy in the head (which is not considered armored on any player) with a weapon that does at least 34 damage you get a one shot "kill". Weapons with less than 34 damage (all pistols and submachine guns, some assault weapons, most carbines, most light machine guns) require two shots to the head for a kill.
