speakers or headsets

I use a headset mostly for the benefit of those I'm talking to in-game. I hate it when someone is using speakers and have them cranked way up to the point that I hear more game-sounds when they are talking than their own voice. I figure with a headset you get my voice without any in-game static contaminating the communication.

As to my personal preference... I far prefer speakers over headset for sound quality.

I prefer headsets but when I really want to feel in the game and I can be noisy I blast my speakers

Although ... if I did that to my poor wife, the neighbors would think it sounded like WW3 in my house.

I've got a $170 Logitech 5.1 Sound System HOWEVER my $20 Logitech headset is so much better for in game playing.

hi everyone
i got some problem here,i've been playing l4d2 for a long time ago and now i wanted to try using some plugins (i have downloaded sourcemod,metamod n metamod.vdf and launch option setting to -insecure),unfortunately,while playing the game for around 5 minutes,i got crash into desktop,i'm very sure i've done everything correctly according to the instruction.
fyi,when i'm playing normal game (without plugins and putting -insecure in launch option),its working perfectly until i finished the map..
anyone got any suggestion?i want to play using plugins so badly as i seen its more enjoyable compare to normal game
