One small one: Refine the compass tape so that the ticks correspond to exactly 1°. Currently, they are 1 2/3°, which makes trying to call precise locations difficult. Give the compass a real lubber line, instead of just a chevron.

I second (or third?) the more detailed map coordinate system.
I would like to see the introduction of UAV's into the game. They could be purely recon vehicles. fly at high altitudes with good zoom capabilities to spot and track enemy movements. They would probably work best for the larger maps like Kashan, Zatar, or Quinling.

A idea I would like to throw in is one I got from the AIX mod. The tanks in Aix can hold six people and I would think this would allow true armor support and would allow the tanks to do more than sit on hills watching over a area it could be inserting troops and providing extra fire power...

How about more hummers, landys, and vodniks at main for transportation. I find alot of times I am stuck at main with no transportation. I would like to see medics get some love also. I like being a medic but I run into alot of problems with trying to keep squadmembers alive. It is really difficult to shoot someone from really far away with only ironsights and while I like the irons if I am the only one alive it is suicide to try and get them up. Smoke is to slow so maybe increase the time it takes for bleed out to occur it will give medics a better chance of getting to the wounded soldier. Maybe increase the paddles ability to revive fallen squadmembers to many times I have run to get someone up shock the chest and nothing. Maybe increase the paddles but slowdown the bag healing a bit to compensate. Sorry for the long post

Yes the med pack is more effective but if you are the squad medic and you are holding the fort and you have 2-3 people calling medic with one solider down for the count. Drop 3 field dressings for the wounded to hold them over until the fella that is down is back up. I think this would make the medics much more effective and very much more desired in squads.

Thanks for expanding on my suggestions. I agree with alot of what you are saying and I also will use up my field dressings quickly because it is more effective to treat multiple patients then use the bag to get them full health. Another problem I have run into which is mostly minor is dead squadies in tall grass = tough to find sometimes. I have to bring up the mini map constantly to locate them. In real life I would follow the audible cue of medic to the position. My biggest concern is the paddles though as they are most difficult to master and get just right a little more shock area would help becuase of terrain and bodies sliding. Maybe if they could somehow lock the body to the kit when it drops or the kit could be zapped instead. Just a couple more suggestions for you to expand on

I don't know if they can do this, but it would be interesting if the Commander was able to set waypoints ...
