EA Download Manager! GRRRRR!
I don't know if someone can help me. I'm trying to play BF2 and my EA download manager says: "The game can not start. In order to launch this game, please log in to the EA Download Manager to verify your ownership, then try again."
So I log in to EA Download Manager, restart BF2 and it still says the same thing: "The game can not start. In order to launch this game, please log in to the EA Download Manager to verify your ownership, then try again." GRRRRRR!
I changed my password and removed temporary files and still the same stupid message again.
Help me please!

Re: EA Download Manager! GRRRRR!
Man you've got a tough one. I've googled your message and it is a stickler. I did find this.
If you see the following error, your game has likely been downloaded and installed on three other computers already.
"The game can not start. In order to launch this game, please login to the EA Link to verify your ownership, then try again".
According to the End User License Agreement, which can be found by opening the EA Downloader, highlighting your game, and selecting Game Manual, "You may only have the game installed on three computers at any given time."
If you are sure you have not installed the game on a fourth computer, please clear your license files located at C:\Users\Your Account\AppData\Roaming\PACE Anti-Piracy\ and delete all the files in that folder.

Re: EA Download Manager! GRRRRR!
I am guessign your are playing the downloadable version of BF2, have you tried reinstalling it and when is the last time you ran error-checking on your hardrive it cures a great many ills including programs not talking to each other but takes an hour or more. To do and error check find your drive in my computer right click on it and go to properties, select the tools tab at the top of the window that appears, then click check now. Be warned it will want to restart your computer and it will take at least an hour, on my 160 gig HD it took 1 hour 40 minutes.

I know lots about computers and I don't see "PACE Anti-Piracy\License Files" in my drive. GRRR! I guess I'll have to write back to them. If this is not resolved by this weekend I will go to Wal-Mart and buy the game and not have to deal with this stupid Download Manager.
Will have to start all over again with my ranks
Again thanks for the help guys I really appreciate it. If you have other suggestions please let me know.
