There are other threads out there about this.
But when you press "Print Screen". It saves it to your clipboard. So after you take the screenshot you open mspaint or whatever you use and Paste it. There you have it.
I believe that Print Screen only saves on SS. Right?

Spanky is correct, at least as far as Windows XP is concerned. I can't verify on Vista.
Look in the My Documents folder, you will find another folder labeled BF2142. Drill down into there. In game print screens will save to that folder.
Caveat - if you take a screenshot in between rounds, such as on the awards screen, then WorstPE is correct, it is being held on the clipboard and you will need to paste it into MSPaint or a Word document or something before you press the PrtScr button again or it will be gone.
X-Fire - no idea. Easy to look up though.

For xfire, you should have the option to automatically upload them to your account. If a problem such as say BSOD or the ever feared EAREOD (EA Random Error of Death), you can go to your xfire SS folder in the xfire directory of Program Files on your default HD.
