haha Oh SURE Kanati, bring my shame to light... *I* was the one that said "We've got this one in the bag." (with us owning all but 1 silo, their titan armor down so far the icon was completely dark, and just as I started to say that, we still held a corridor).. so yes, team, it was I, Walkerxes, that jinxed us. :3 I HAD to open my big mouth... as soon as I did it, we lost the hall (they blew the console AS I said it), and rushed the core so fast we could barely blink.

And I think it might have been Laggy that said "Not so fast" ... or perhaps Pyro..

Yeah.... I said that. :::: sigh :::: I've been in the attackers shoes pulling out a win in impossible situations. We relaxed and got exploited. My bad as as squad leader and trying to work with a silent commander. Their victory was earned because when we got dropped, we had every silo. They HAD no other way to win and we didnt' protect our assets.

And because I didn't much care for getting booted after map switch to an NS map... I'm all northern striked up now. No more getting the boot for me.

On that note though I watched the server and once the northern strike map came up, half the server took a hike. Does that normally happen when a northern strike map comes up or was it just late and people took a powder?

Combination. We usually lose some on NS maps, but it was also getting late. You'll find midnight is a big drop off point. Rounds that end near midnight (CDT) take a hit on the server.

Pretty much what laggy said.. There's an initial drop as those who don't have it lose connection, but then it usually starts to fill back up again before both rounds are done.

I've played that map when it's been nearly full, and also when it's been almost empty.
