Since it seems like they're going to release a beta, listen to player feedback, and then release a final, what features/tweaks do you want (realistically)?
General
-Urban PLA map
-Address remaining CTD issues
-Address some hack issues (cartillery, server crash)
-Instead of radio direct to commander, 2nd radio channel among all squad leader and commander
Air
-Decrease HP or armor of AH
-Decrease HP or armor of transport choppers while increasing the effectiveness of doorguns
-Increase missile lock on range of AA/mobile AA
-Improve hit detection/increase J10 hitbox
Armor
-Cap maximum turret rotation speed
Infantry
-Slower grenade restock from ammo bags
-MG should have a smaller cone of fire, especially when prone
-Increase recover time from going prone: accuracy should be = moving accuracy for a couple seconds before prone bonus kicks in
-Prone infantry should be immune to claymores
-Reduce accuracy of G36E - the medic class is serving the role of the assault class
Just some ideas. I wonder if they will view forums other than the EA BF2 forum

* More PLA map(s) (they have 6 to the MEC's 9)
* Develop a more robust player ID system (any system that will display data OTHER than that associated with the unique PID is inherently unsecure)
* Decrease armor on AH to require 2 static AA missiles to kill (instead of three)
* Decrease explosion size and damage from Mi-28 gun
* Make Mi-28 heavier and less maneuverable (to make up for gun)
* Increase missiles lock range to 450m for static/mobile AA.
* Make missiles behave like actual missiles (real missiles use lead pursuit to predictively intercept their targets. BF2 missiles currently use (at best) lag pursuit and their superior speed to hit a target, which makes the aspect almost useless unless the target is stationary, or heading straight towards/away. Nearly impossible to kill people that way).
* Increase hitboxes on J-10.
* Decrease hitboxes on F35.
* Reduce fighters to 1 bomb (fighters fight airtargets. Bombers take out ground targets).
* Reduce the range of airfield resupply such that fixed-wing aircraft are required to land on the runway to rearm (at least, at best make them taxi to the rearming station).
* Tweak helicopter physics to require at least 50m to complete a full rollover maneuver.
* Increase space in the APC to accomodate a full squad.
* Tweak HMMWV / Vod to accomodate full squad.
* Make Blackhawk guns a little useful.
* Remove grenades from classes that would not carry them (medics, engineers, snipers).
* Increase the number of smoke grenades Assault carries (to 4).
* Increase duration and intensity of smoke grenades (by about 1000%)
* Increase explosive radius on rifle grenades (from 4.5m to 7m; compared to standard grenade range of 9m. Reduce damage slightly)
* Prone to approach and pass claymores.
* Tweak G36E (Needs: less accuracy, less damage, longer reload to be in line with other assault rifles).
* Reduce number of magazines Medics receive from 5 to 3.
* Increase number of magazines Assault receives from 5 to 7 (already on M16, but neither of the AK's)
* Lower maximum range on AT rockets to the length of their control wires (instead of letting the projectiles continue for eternity).
* Make LMG more accurate in prone. Decrease max deviation on M249 / Type 95, increase on RPK-74.
* Make the spec-ops and/or sniper class invisible to the commander sat-sweep (not to UAV or manual spotting).
* Remove jihad jeep (ie, no impact detonation for C4; it's completely stable without a detonator).
*Wishlist*
Add in capability for fastropes.
Fix the remaining crashes.
Remove SF weapons completely.
Give us all the booster pack content.
Make every server play Highway Tampa all the time, forever.
