Also, I'm a very strong armoured SL and -have- been working on a drafted structure for a mechanized squad consisting of an APC, ride-on-repair Engineer, a Spec-Ops kit for Laser Designation, backed by a Challenger MBT. Basically, the APC would provide forward coverage in the hill regions and listen for hostile armour while the Spec-Ops actively spots incoming threats from a concealed vantage. Once the contacts become too close to maintain a tenable position, the APC collects the recon team and withdraws, while the Challenger positions itself to engage. This also creates a situation where two infantry can capture a flag in unison with the APC, while the MBT provides careful overwatch. Additionally the commander can commit the APC temporarily (along with the entire squad) as a transport/escort feature for an infantry or dismounted reconnaissance unit.

Atro,
We are not asking a commander to perform all you mentioned. All the administration for the actual matches will / has been done by the admins (read the **Commander** mainly) and the actual battle plans and co-ordination will be handled mainly by the admin group and others - we will obviously be looking for input from all for strategy.
It is a bit like being the captain of a sports team for the day - you will lead the co-ordination on the actual day of the game - but most of the work will have been done up front by the coaches and management of the team.

Re: TTP vs TG Sign up
I'm in if you will have me. I don't get to play on the TTP servers as much as I like but I pride myself in being a good squad member. My best roles are Support and Medic.
I won't claim to be the best but when I have a good squad that sticks together I can keep the ammo flowing or the health... well healing...
My best vehicle is a UH-60. I can fly at top speed with an average altitude of 2M dodging trees right up to a flag, unload and circle for air support landing when radioed by my sqad leader. (I can't count how many hours I have flown on maps waiting for a full game to gather, so I don't have stat hours but lots of practice)
