Not to burst your bubble necessaryevil101, but TTP also has its fair share of In-House squads. I was going through the forum and I didn't see a public Team speak channel on TTP. But yes TG has a public Team speak channel which is allowed by all who are playing various games on the servers that TG hosts. The In House squads however are for those players who are in those squads or who are invited for the most part to go to them. Sometimes it can be an easy way to coordinate attacks etc. If you ever play on the TG server I invite you go on Team speak.

I also see you like to fly the jet evil......not bad flying, on Kashan last night, and you are pretty handy with the H-AT. I take it DCM is a In House Squad or Clan hosted by TTP?

The TTP resident clans are on the right ----->

These are seperate clans that call the server home.

TTP does not lock squads and we encourage our regs to spread out and show non-regs the TTP way.

No TTP does not have a public Teamspeak, we use the VoIP provided by the edevs to communicate in the game as it was intended.

Cool, thank you for posting, i wasn't trying to be hostile in any way, my fellow TG members yesterday used a lock armor squad for coordination, though we only locked it really when it was at 6 players, i did see a locked jet squad but i'm used to that by now, on any server i have played on.

I agree sometimes i don't even use TS, especially since i have a bug where if i have TS before the game loads i cant use the in game VOIP. So i understand your take on it.

    Re: TG

Actually, I will say, as a usual nay-sayer of locked squads, Project Reality is the one place where there can be an actual purpose to locking a squad. Especially for air and armor squads. When trying to coordinate between driver and gunner, you don't want a whole lot of ground-pound chatter going on, or vice versa for the ground pounders. Ground pounders sometimes need to have it quiet to be able to hear the environment around them, so having a gunner and driver of a tank talking back and forth would be a distraction. And when the squad needs to talk, the gunner of the tank may not hear his/her driver calling out a target location.

    etc.
