Yesterday was both a proud and sad day.
Proud because I became a reservist. A small thing?. Quite like taking the Queens shilling. Those that have served will know what I mean. I now feel part of a group that has an ideal. A purpose.

Sad because of late the players on this server have strayed. Lost that spark that makes this such a special place to be.

If you are reading this chances are the spark is still there.

There has been posts about waiting for jets. Disruptive players. Hackers. Non team players.

We read. We comment.........And then we get back to the flow of the server. So who do I blame for there ways or there presence?. My squad leader?. The commander?. Admin?. NO!. I look at none of these. I should be putting my best foot forward. And so shall it be.

The hackers are there. The non team players and the rest that we loathe.

People have begun to swim with the tide. Myself included. NO MORE!.

When I first joined this server, squads members fought and died for the squad. Changing kits in an instance. Never say die!.

Those squads are still led by the few. With some great squad players. But it is becoming less so.

Of late I have made squads. Not because I wanted to lead but because I avoid the the squads that have no direction. NO MORE!. If you join my squad have purpose and drive. Or leave.

It falls to those of us that team play to be an example to others. We should not tolerate anything less.

I was squadding with KF2 Endevor. He asked me as an Englishman whether I had read Shakespear. Guess what came to mind?. This day is called st crispin day!.

SO my band of brothers. Join me in this endevor and tolerate no less.

That should be the reservist pledge. If you are commander and have insubordinate SLs let the admins know. If you are an SL and have an unresponsive commander or insubordinate SMs, let the admins know. Admins are always present, and willing to help, but if we do not know who the trash is we can't take it out.

Agreed. We can be better than the base villains we fight against. I had someone repeatedly killing me and reviving me a few weeks ago. And I was gritting my teeth... And I had my finger on my trigger... And prior to TTP I simply would have blown him away and probably taken a few more kills as I saw him later. But on TTP I stopped. And I thought. "I'm on TTP. I'm better than this." He killed me at least 5 times in a row and I just stood there and let him do it. He would take a step back after the revive and look at me like "c'mon... retaliate..." and I just looked right back at him and let him do it again. We're better than they are. We deserve our positions on this server through our loftier goals, ambitions, and our actions. We let them speak for us and we are righteous in our ability to move beyond such contemptible unimportance.

Bayonets affixed. Let them come.

But you CAN retaliate!! Not with your guns or knife,but with the most powerful weapon againsed asshats.The Screenshot! As he is TK'ing you,take a pretty picture of him and post it in the disruptive players thread.You can also thank him personally while in-game by giving him a public shoutout adressed to the ADMIN.Being sure to punish gets his name to pop-up in the admin logs,and the hard working admins on this server just love to give asshats presents for their hard work and dedication to general asshattery,the ever popular BANHAMMER!

Precicely what dex just said... Even if you're not running xfire, there's always the trusty print screen button... screen shot it, bring it in here, pst it in the Problem Players/Teamkillers thread, tell the circumstance to the best of your ability, go the little extra and get the player's stats and post them too, and most importantly, post your proof, the SSes.

This is OUR Kung Fu, and trust me, it is strong.
