Bridge at Remagen is killing the servers!

i did try to repatch and that didnt work, i tried it several times so i guess its the punkbuster, how do i update that?

I just had the problem with modified content after I bought a new computer the correct install order is such:

Install game
run 1.4
install Northern Strike
run 1.4
run 1.5

I don't think it would hurt to drop Bridge from the conquest server and leave it going on the Titan server. I really hate playing it on Conquest but it still feels fairly new to me on Titan.

Or drop it lower in the list since we never see those maps anyways thanks to the crashing issues. (THANKS EA!)

Personally I think it is NS that is killing the server WAY more than a paticular map. I see the same drop when we get to Leipzig. While I like the NS maps, all 3 are in my top 5 Favs in conquest, I think they are not good for the server population.

I tend to agree. I've always felt that way about remagen even when NS was just as popular as the other maps.

In conquest mode the layout and low player numbers usually turn it in to an epically long round.

I know some people like it but I would be willing to bet that the majority of players out there do not. When it comes around in the rotation people do seem to drop like flies.

I concur with Turtle, I don't think it would hurt anything to see it done away with on the conquest server. At the very least it would be one less NS map killing the server. Once we get the servers going we don't want to have to start all over again, we want it to keep rolling all night. When one of these maps hit it can make it feel like going right back to step one.

I finally got onto the server last night to catch the end of one great game with a full server, when Bridge loaded and cleared out all but a few of us.

I love the map if it's a full server, it's big, active and generally makes for a good game, but when it's full, it's way too slow. Unfortunately, most of the games follow the latter description, so I'd be all for dropping the map.
