Light at the end of the tunnel
What a day yesterday!,
For the most part it was back to the walls. I enjoy this game play. Bring it on.
There was times during the day that it got a bit tiresome. Even for me. When you have one or two corporals running around with assault weapons killing at a rate of 30-1 you know something is wrong.....And most people will not comment until its raining jeeps.
Then when your back is against the wall your team mates start to kill each other for jets or out of frustration. Or decide the colour of there coat looks better turned. Gentlemen....When you turn your coat the other side is yellow.
SO...Quite a bit to overcome. We played. We worked at it. Ever onward we toiled never giving in. I am glad no one came from the other side to try to even the balance. It was better for the new players to try to gel. Find the reason we team play.
It did start to turn. Only by a little to start. But the light was seen at the end of the tunnel.
Gone were the seven squads of one or two players....And little Johnny with the aim bot had to be in bed by eight. Which was a good thing for all concerned. ......
So the tide turned. A small Eb to start. It had to turn.......For our hearts were Strong. Our ammunition was our courage and our bayonet grim determination..... Ever pushed back by the grim determination of those who just do not know when to quit they succumbed. Never giving in .Never.
Once the non team players had switched to the Disco Barbi Server. We got down to the grim business of war. That small Eb had now become a strong tide. Squads were moving as a unit and complimenting each others skills and replacing kits to order. A much smoother and cohesive fighting force.
I have written this post because I would like to thank all those that stuck with it. It is easier to give in....Or turn coat.
Well done gentlemen!. Lesser men would have gone. You all showed character. That never say die spirit that made me want to call this server home. When your back was to the wall you fixed bayonets and fought side by side.
I commend you all.
