But find whatever mix works for you. The point is, have all of this laid out in advance.
2) When the commander tell a squad to get back to the Titan on the double, that means suicide, not hop in an APC and drive clear across the map.
3) If you're not sure that you can field a good defence, tell the commander. If you are having problems holding a corridor, tell the commander. One of the worst things to hear as a commander is 'we're losing the corridor' after the bad guys blow it.
4) Titan defence can at times be boring. The squad needs to keep alert. They do not need to be screwing around knifing one another. If you are concerned that you are not getting any points then you are playing on the wrong server.
5) If you are not getting cooperation from your squad, then let the commander know. We either work as a team, or we lose. I would rather be told 'commander, we are not working well as a squad', than find out that very same fact after all of our consoles are blown and the the bad guys (and girls) are in our core.
Peroration:
We're not going to win every game. We're not going to have 'dream team' squads all the time. If we get beat, we get beat. But if I am going to lose I want to lose because I was out played, not because I didn't have my sh!t together.

There wasn't any jacking around but I do not think that the guys on our squad had a clue what to do and we were getting hit so hard and fast that we did not have time for a bit of training. I think we were given the defend order as the shield went down so there was no set up time.
Its hard to explain exactly how everything went down but I know for sure it was annoying.
Learn from our mistakes, I did.

I was squad leader that round and I have to be honest, that was one of the worst performances Iv ever pulled on the titan server. First off Forquet ordered us to go Titan D, told my quad and quickly Forquetsson and trail are on D, but I still spawn down on the ground to take silo 3 (I have no idea what was going on in my mind) and to make matters worse the other 2 losers in the squad werent listening at all when I told them to suicide immediately!
Then we get on the titan, all messed up and whatnot and are assaulted by 2 full squads, we are in chaos, forquetsson was autobalanced and another person left the squad. And really it was just trail, forquet, some kvin guy and I defending the titan.
Anyway Id like to apologize for the sloppy performance, but luck really just didnt favor us from the get go...

Sorry to disagree, but here sitting four feet from the commander, I heard the order for defense go out early. It's just that it took most of the squad a while to get their stuff in a pile up there with us.

She didn't even notice that she finished the game with 103 point on the board :9 "Impressive" ) The next round Frau was commander and she spent over half the game yelling at Squad 2 to pull their heads out of their ass and get busy following orders.
