*salutes* Greets,

I'm sure a few of you have seen me around. And i'm sure a few of you have laughed at my voice. :P Hey, I can't help it ok? Herman Syndrome or somethin... ;P I've watched the forums for awhile and tried to play often on the TTP BF2 Server, so I thought now might be a good time to step out and say hello.

A little about myself: I'm a current 25 yo divorcee working Aviation Maintenance in the USN on AD based in Norfolk, VA. I have two years down in a Bachelor's in Computer Science and my passion for that stemmed from compettive game play and MMO's. My first competitive online game was Mechwarrior 2 Netmech (for DOS) back in 1995. I got hooked, and played in the Grand Council ladder as a Clan Leader once I got good enough. I've been playing FPS' and MMO's ever since.

I'm all about the team work. I'm not always the fastest reaction guy, but i'm always there to try and help a Squad out. I haven't been a member of a Clan in a competitive game in years, but mainly because i've never caught too many recruitment threads out there.

(I think IRON's was the first i've seen.)

I've learned alot from the regular's on TTP, and the articles here are very helpful. I look forward to putting in more games with all of you.

I appreciate the warm welcome.

I'll take any lessons you guys want to give. I was looking at your Air Combat map download in the downloads section. I like to think i'm a decent pilot, but I still have alot of troubles hitting helo's with missles, and bombing ground targets. Was thinking that would be a great practice map.

I'm always looking for articles to improve my ground game as well. I've seen the ones you guys have already posted, but if anyone has any for infantry combat, that would be great.

I'll give you one quick tip, don't rely on the missiles too often for taking out helicopters with jets, the cannons are much more effective.

Sup Resithe...welcome dude...I've seen you around before...you should come around more often...Use the search feature in here if you wanna find useful info on how to bomb, strafe choppers and dogfighting in general...lots of guys have posted their little tricks...useful stuff..

Wonder around the forums..you'll find what you need.

Welcome to the best damn teamplay gaming community you can find.

Read the articles and stickies to get some possibly new tips and strats. Looks like you know how to post, so keep it up! The community here is pretty warm and welcoming.

It's nice to see a supportive community. There was a small issue that last game before the Account servers went down, but I posted it in the proper place above in the stickies.

I'll search around in the forums for some stuff. It was good to see you Xav. I wasn't ditchin IRON in that Squad earlier to be anti-social. I'm actually taking around a new player named Lady_Athene. She's never played BF2 before so I was trying to stick in the same squad with her and stuff to show her the basics.
