Thread: Shader Problems

As the PR practice match is looming on the near horizon...

I find that I'm having SHADER issues. It keeps kicking me after about 5 minutes, citing a punkbuster issue and saying something about my shaders in the fine print.




Would SOMEONE please tell me, in very simple terms...

1. What is causing that?
2. How to fix it?

Not another one of these... OK, what you do to fix it is go to your BF2 Folder, should be located at C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2, then you go into the mods folder, go to the bf2 folder and copy shaders_client.zip and copy it back to C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods (for later use). Then go to the pr folder and copy the shaders_client.zip to the bf2 folder. Now every time you go between BF2 and PR you have to change the shaders file. Hope this helps!
