I'll have to agree with Bravo. Your team had many problems, and the biggest was everyone on your team spawning at Central Island while our team captured Gas and Farm leaving your team stranded to get bombed to pieces by me and whoever else was in the F35. Then I think your team captured Airfield, and only a few spawned there, because you lost it fairly soon after, and then I remember you guys have no bases near the end. No doubt Major Brass is not a teamplayer at times, he likes to try and fly the F-35b against J-10s and die 20 times in a row, rather than using it as a transport for a squad leader when the team has no flags... But your team just wasn't working out too well.

    Re: Major Brass

I took factory within the first 30 seconds of that round. My squad failed to spawn on me so I was unable to defend it alone. Factory is unique as it is the only flag that must be captured on foot or chopper. It is common to take advanced flags in order to give your team opportunites to take flags closer to the main (ie: Wake Island, Kubra Dam, Dragon valley etc). Zatar is no different. You know as well as everybody else that Central Island is the prize of Zatar. I am one man and cannot defend all flags simultaniously. Our team failed as a whole. Major Brass had an opportunity to help his team by bailing out over an advanced flag to give our side a chance to take other flags. He failed to help his team and though he remained in the jet he also failed to suppress enemy air attack, hence Reject_Wolfs point. I was not commanding this round so to blame me for the rest of my team's failure to take and defend flags closer to our main is wrong. I except equal responsibility for the loss only.
Next round I did command and we were in a similar situation. At that time I requested Maj Brass to take a flag as again he was the only SL in a jet. He refused my order so I asked him to have his two squadmates to assist other squads. He would not respond to that order either. We lost these rounds because of failures at many levels and I share responsibility for these losses but I was teamplaying all the same and I can't say the same for Maj Brass

That right there is the main issue that does not sit well with me: denying the commanders orders.

Zatar can be a pain but it aint like Dalian or Oman where once you are pinned on the carrier there is almost no return. It is an asshat maneuver to say "no I wanna keep the plane" but within his rights. However denying a direct order from the commander or your SL is another issue IMO.

    Re: Major Brass

Major Brass is a vehicle whore in my experience. I don't think I have ever met him walking, apart from the first few seconds of a round. He seems to play for his stats more than his team, especially evident on Wake where he refuses not only to bail and cap flags, but when shot down refuses to allow a squadleader to get the jet and bail. But given the way he uses the jets as squadleader, I doubt he is even aware that people use jets that way, and so he thinks he might lose the jet for good of someone else gets it.

As for Zatar last night, Brass was not even top 10 of our problems. We had what, 5 one man squads? And some ungodly Central Island fetish I will never understand. It may be the prize of Zatar, but it is not worth any price, and our team was getting mowed down on those slopes for a long time. When it is heavily defended, that means you can get a lot of other flags on the cheap.

As for leading squads from a jet, it is a terrible waste to have 5 guys on the ground in a squad led by a guy in a jet. But then, those guys did join that squad, so they can leave and start their own or join another squad. I have done this many times, so I know it works. You can change squads several times in the same round. (But you have to be alive to join another one after your first spawn) :9
For when the One Great Scorer comes, to write against your name, he writes not that you won or lost, but how you played the Game

Glad you guys were able to vent your frustrations. He will be watched by admins. If you see him causing problems call it out in global chat, and if possible contact me on xfire.

Now you have my attention with this one. All the other junk I highlighted in red is where the main problem was for your team and you didn't bring it up at all to begin with, you simply painted Major Brass as the only problem, which is an in-concise and untrue statement. Now that you stated that you were as an acting commander on the next map and made a request of him that he denied and ignored, that is something the admins can and will deal with.

Next time get to the root of the problem and leave all the other confusing junk out. Then make sure you post it in the correct place "Disruptive Players Sticky" and we'll get along just fine Jurassic.

    Re: Major Brass

Are yall serious? ? ? You were on Zatar wetlands and on the MEC side and could not take single flag and hold it? ? ? ? ?

Once your team failed miserably, you decide to tell a SL to bail out of his jet and onto a flag? A little late for that.

#1 You evidentally had a very poor plan or a very disorganised team if you could not walk down the hill from your airbase and take the hill or the gas station... That does'nt speak well at all for the situation.

#2 Because your team could not take a flag and hold it, you ask a SL to bail out into the enemy teams flag on the fly..... First off he would have had to have his whole squad in stand by death to be able to spawn in... Because they were not, he would have had to get them all to commit suicide, wait for the respawn time and then hope the poor SL that bailed into 9 enemy squads let him live long enouph for the rest of his squad to spawn in....and they loose the bomber as well... Doesn't sound like a good plan to me.

#3 You can't blame one SL for the entire team not getting their butts out of the airfield and capturing a flag and holding it...
