I'm BACK!!! (The Spanky Chronicles)
As many of you already know, I have been out of game playing status for over a month. My Hard drive was so riddled with viruses, installers, adware and malware I could not really play. Well I have a new hard drive, much much faster and larger capacity, and have installed and patched and updated the game.
Thing is, I can join other PB managed servers but when I try to join TTP PB boots me with just the “Punkbuster” general no description note. I went and manually updated PB but it still happens, just on TTP. I guess I will uninstall and reinstall and patch and blah blah blah.
I hope it works and I will see you all tonight!!!

Re: I'm BACK!!! (The Spanky Chronicles)
PB was given me a lot of trouble the other day in COD4. Had to delete the PB file and manually update. Then COD4 told me I had to enable PB to join the TTP server and when I choose yes it FINALLY recognized the correct version of PB. Took me 45 minutes to make it work.

Re: I'm BACK!!! (The Spanky Chronicles)
LOL, I think a round of Kumbayah is in order!
Was just in TOP 5, the one that kept kicking me, and got to have a good round with KingArthor.
Just as an FYI I found this and it is what worked for fixing my punkbuster problem.
Users that are getting kicked for "Service Communication Failure" (including the handshake failure type) have some other software that is blocking the PunkBuster services.
Some users have previously disabled the PnkBstrA.exe and PnkBsrtB.exe services in the past, and these services are now mandatory.
If the services are stopped/disabled, then PB will kick from this point forward.
Sometimes it is an anti-virus program (like an old version of McAfee Security Center), sometimes it is a personal firewall that are blocking the services. Any user who is getting kicked for this will have to stop whatever is blocking PB or configure the program to allow the two services.
The below link is a tool provided by PunkBuster that will help users who need to reinstall the services:

See you in the field!!! Spanky is back in the saddle!
