Thread: My Battlefield 2 wont Patch

Ok, so I recently bought the complete collection since I lost my old battlefield 2 cd key since I reformatted.

I installed it, went fine, patched and installed Project Reality and have been playing that alot. But I decided to go groundpound on normal battlefield for a while, but I realize it never patched, still says 1.1 at the top right. I ran the patcher about 3 times 1.41 and it still says 1.1. Any idea why it wont patch?

Specs:
OS: Vista Ultimate 64bit
Q9300 quadcore 2.5ghz~
8Gigs ddr2 1066
BFG 9800GTX
EVGA 780i

I just re-bought BF2 as well. I bought it right off of EA downloader. It still says 1.1 something or another. I remember this happening to me two years ago as well.

But it's still 1.41. have you tried joining the server?

Yes it gives me an error saying I don't have the correct version or something, ill go load it up and reply word for word, brb

EDIT: this server only allows players with unmodified content to join revert
your battlefield 2 to the current official version to join

That only happen to me once and all I do is go back into the server and I am playing once again. 8)
