Re: Old Player, new game, and new to TTP
Ragun! Welcome! We've squadded a few times. I thought you already were on the forum here!
As for the old school games... wow, Crescent Hawks inception... Ever play Crescent Hawks Revenge?
MW2 was fantastic. And as I type this, I am staring at the instruction manual (recently unearthed) for Starseige. I still have it and Tribes laying around here somewhere.

yup...played revenge too.
MW2 and Ghost Bear were great as well...I still have both. Another semi-old game (but not in the mech genre but still awesome) were the battle zone series of games. Battle Zone (arcade) ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battlez...80_video_game) ) Then followed by the "wicked cool" Battle zone ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battlez...98_video_game) ) and Battle Zone 2 ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battlezone_2 )
And you thought 2142 was unique with the 1st person driven hover tank...not by a long shot.
Looks familiar too, don't it?!?

Dude! I recently just reinstalled BZ1 and BZ2!! Rock oooooooonnnnnn!
And I found my old X-COM CDs and started playing them again. It never ceases to amaze me that a game made in 1994 is *still* one of the best TBS games ever devised.
