High Ping every time i go onto the server

every time i log into the server i keep getting a high ping reading of 1046. My average ping is around 53. I want to know how to fix it.

Could very well be internet log jams due to the recent disaster in Texas. That would cause a lot of players to have their connection route to the servers to be redirected and could result in your connection problem. Do a TraceRt on your PC to the server IP and post a pic of it up so we can see what might be the problem if you don't know how to read it.

Are you reading the ping from the window prior to joining the server or while holding tab once you have connected?

If your reading the ping prior to joining then you can disregard that as EA has that all kinds of messed up.
