Thread: Crashing to Desktop

Hey....I'll be playing the game for a few minutes (whatever server) and I get kicked and dropped right to my desktop with BF2 closed and all. I figured my punkbuster was the issue so I made sure PBa and PBb were both set to active and automatic.

Maybe it's a windows port issue? Can anyone help? AIM = Kingzoran or reply here. Hell I'll even give you my cell number.

on the evenbalance site you need to click on the yellow 'here' section to download PBSVC.

Whenever I had these problems, I used the PBSVC file to test my Punkbuster files to make sure they were loaded correctly. If it couldn't initialize the appropriate files, then I'd simply choose to do a repair or reinstall. I never recommend stopping the PunkBstr A or B services as so many others recommend. Simply use what evenbalance has to correct it.

I reinstalled PB......and then downloaded my new graphic drivers that came out yesterday...been working fine now.
