You need to start pr from your pr short cut.
Doing so will let the pr.exe(text) make the game use the custom shaders 'aka' 'suppression effects' other wise = kick
You can see it in my short cut string:
"E:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\pr.exe" start /AFFINITY 2 +modPath mods/pr +menu 1 +widescreen 1 +szx 1680 +szy 1050
the first pr after mods is the pr application, the next one(pr.exe) is the text file.
Hope this makes it clearer.
