Thread: Bonus Pack Problems

I just installed the EF and AF and to my surprise, when trying to access a map from one of those packs I was told that I could not because my BF2 was not installed to the proper version and wouldn't let me on. Have any of you, who installed these packs, suffered the same fate?

I think it might be a patch problem. I only have SF.

What was the exat error mjs?

Here it is:

"This server allows players with unmodified content to join. Revert your version of Battlefield 2 to the current official version to join."

This happened to me before, same message. After I installed patch 1.3 I was unable to get onto the Wake Field map. So I uninstalled Battlefield and reinstalled and that seemed to work because I am now able to get to all maps except for the EF and AF maps.

Oh, that has happened to me too. I just kept rejoining the server.

i get the umodififed content bs sometimes too. anyways, after you install any bf2 expansions, you still have to install the latest patch...ie, if youre running a plain bf2 fully patched 1.3 install and you install sf/af/ef, you have to run the patch again... :? so install order would be...

bf2->sf/ef/af->latest patch

i always grab the 'full' patch...those incremental patches are as buggy as bf2 itself... :roll: :P
