Glad I could help you out! Make sure to get your mic working. In your battlefield 2142 folder there is a "BF2142 Voice Setup" to help you get it working.... You can also do it in the game menu under options.

To get the hang of the titan mode I also think there is a small movie to watch in the game menu also.... it will help you understand the basics of what to do.

I think I already told you this over steam, but remember, the game gives EVERYONE wall hacks. So if you randomly get shot when you think you're hiding, don't call hack. You have to play as if they ALWAYS know where you are, cause 98% of the time, they do . So in other words, hiding is next to worthless, you're better off running into the doors ahead of me :P don't worry I'll revive you

Another good thing to remember is that solid objects are sometimes not as solid as they visually appear. A hostile's gun may be beneath a crate, but they are able to shoot you through the crate. So if you see a hostile, shoot. If you hesitate, you're dead.

And as Mudstalker said, the #1 rule of FPS is to keep moving (even for a sniper).

One piece of advice for a new player, map your "pickup kit" key so that it's accessible, you can steal kits off of dead bodies and use their upgrades (until you get killed). Not only will this give you a small advantage, but it will help you decide which kits you like, and how you plan to upgrade.
