Funny stuff about Rorsching (Is that a word?)

So I'm sitting in a rorsch at silo 5 defending. Some retard gunship pilot is flying slow and low so I start hitting it with the rorsch. One of the guys in my squad asks over VoIP if I just hit that gunship with the rail gun. "Yup". "Wow, that's really good". "I hit it 4 times". Of course after 4 shots with the rorsch, you would think I'd get the kill... Oh hell no... no kills for me!

And I gotta give props to Meth drilling me within a fraction of a second of hopping in at point blank range with a rorsch last night... your screwing up my KDR with the rorsch a-hole!

Neither do I. Somedays I can clip the nuts off a fly across the map and other days I can't hit a walker 100 feet away. It's almost like sometimes where things are at range don't sync with where your client is telling the server where your pointed quite right.

I use to snipe with the rorsch. it was mass bueno. another I just love using anti-vehicle weapons on infantry. It just gives me a warm glowy feeling inside.

I just chalk it up to wonky hitboxes. You'll nail a walker in the knees or crotch three or four times in a row and do no damage. I've hit gunships with a tank gun (and that right there should be automatic death, ladies and gentlemen) on the engines... and done no damage at all.

FYI- doesn't matter where you hit a gunship or transport, it all does the same damage (At least that is what someone told me).

I've also noticed that sometimes the rorsch won't register side damage on a moving target (Tanks, walkers, gunships... etc.)
