Wiimote + nunchuck gunship control

I've been playing with connecting my wiimote to my pc, and I just played around using it to control the gunship:

Roll wiimote: Roll gunship
Tilt wiimote: Point nose up and down
Nunchuck forward/back: Thrust
Nunchuck left/right: Turn
B: fire rockets

I've got to say, it worked pretty well. My fine control was a bit lacking, but the range of movement made loops and quick turns a breeze. Has anyone tried this with different configurations?

If you mean with the Wii remote, no. If you mean different than normal, yes.
I'm set up right now to fly single handed with the N52te. Mouse for shooting, because my thumb and other left hand fingers are busy with wsad and pitch/banking.
Works good for the air transport. Haven't really tried it with the gunship.

How did you connect the Wii remote? Bluetooth?

yeah, it's picked up as a bluetooth device, and there are programs out there that make scripts and mapping of the buttons pretty easy.

I can see it now, Wicked is going to post in the Hardware & Tech section in about a week asking for advice on buying a new monitor because he threw his Wii-mote thru it!

I've got to do something with the damned thing. I bought the wii a year ago, played it for about a month, and have let it quietly collect dust since then.

You should buy better games then
