Joker, I hope for the short time I was logged in I was a total pain in your ass. LOL

So I log in game... join a squad. The team has a commander... everything looks cool. Time to enjoy a relaxing night of playing 2142 on a nearly full server. Spawn green at an enemy silo we're taking... Everything seems to be working great! After a short fierce battle (Rorsch sniped what I thought was the last enemy there) my squad starts hauling ass to the next silo... uh guys? There is still an enemy here... he's on the silo and I'm down. OK... spawn green again. Sweet! We're taking the next silo.. OK... great... again, silo is blue and they haul ass. Guys, there is a tank incoming <vroom goes the APC past me...> I get 2 shots off on the tank at distance, hopefully enough for him to be "cautious" so I can get more shots off. <zoom zoom> goes the enemy FAV right into the silo... that passed the APC that went vroom past me... with my squad in it... it seems like suddenly everyone is there including the tank I was shooting at earlier. OK... dead again... spawning green AGAIN... Now we're ontop of silo 2 (Or which ever one is in the middle of Shuhia) and there is a walker mowing down everyone daring to hop off the roof. I'd call stat padding but we're throwing ourselves infront of his guns. I notice a fellow engi throwing mines over the side. Good idea! But the walker isn't moving to activate them. Smart guy...

So I track where it is by sound and drop behind him. After 3 pilum shots (So much for the belly being weak) it goes down and so do I. Oh well, it was a necessary sacrifice. Spawn green again. I jump down and we take the silo... uh... sweet and stuff?... Again, everyone is taking off faster then a high school party when the cops show up. So no enemy is showing... COOL! I can feel good about following orders! Hop in an FAV... and I almost ram into an enemy APC. Hop out fast and run behind some rocks. Either the people in the APC didn't see me, didn't think I was capable of doing anything, or they were just stupid, I'll never know.

Run around the rocks, first pilum shot is a GLORIOUS hit to the side doing 50% damage. Pilum is reloading and pop around the other side. No time to aim just fire and forget. BOOM! APC goes up. I then run after one of the guys that hops out, why he wasn't killed my the guy at the top of the hill... I have no idea. Not wanting to spary and pray I chase after him... we both run right past a friendly... uh... shoot and stuff? I finally mow him down by the silo. Another enemy pops around the fence <POP POP> goes the SMG and he goes down. I notice an enemy transport coming in slow... hop in the AA gun and target his ass. He speeds up and takes off. UH NOOOOOOOSSSSSSSS!!!!!!! More enemy coming in and I'm in the crappy AA gun. BOOM BOOM BOOM goes the AA gun and ANOTHER goes down! I'm on FIRE! Then Joker has to come in and be a buzz kill...

OK.. spawn green AGAIN... rolling down the street smokin <...> sippin on gin and juice! Roll in there. For some reason an APC is just sitting damaged by the silo. Strange... We hop in the other APC first as I get to work on repairing all of them while close enough to the silo. Suddenly there is a mad dash for vehicles and I run towards the tank. Someone else is too, OK, I'll get the other APC. You know... the one *I* repaired? No, someone grabs it. So I start repairing the other one... OMFG... stop so I can repair. Run after him... start repairing again... so he starts backing up and almost kills me. WTF

He drives back to the silo... so for some ungodly reason I run after the APC AGAIN and go to repair him. He just runs me over this time. "Oh, sorry man". <ESC> <Disconnect> <X> come to the forums and rant...

BD was right... it isn't worth logging in on a Friday or Saturday night.

I didn't realize the aa gun was the hostile until I was right on it. Then you were trying to shoot me while I was standing there with a pilum. I was thinking that I was going to loose, till I pulled the trigger and the thing went up

. Anyway, you were a formidable force. As for logging in on a Friday or saturday, I am almost always commander or SL, and can usually either get the team or the squad in shape ...

HAHAHA Cybs have you ever been a squad lead under me while I'm commanding on a titan map? If you have then you probably remember me telling EVERYONE who's not attacking the enemy titan, or defending ours, that they need to be taking the silo's and immediately leaving the silo, just let the missile go off and move on to the next one. I wasn't commanding or even on at the time you were talking about, but it sounds like my strat....only they're not doing it on purpose...they're just idiots...if they WERE doing it on purpose then it'd be the first time someone actually followed that strat to the T besides regs haha. That strat wins games though, confuses the fuck out of the other team trying to take silos.
