Re: cybergamer 6v6
I think the best way for you to judge it nihi, is to play in one of those maps. The maps are small not the large style we play. Mostly everything is done like my stayle, continue moving flag to flag not stopping. Arti can turn the whole tide of these maps.
You have to be quick and move fast. When you play the small maps, all those little hidding places are much more useful. One just hiding on top of the roof with c4 or clays underneath can mess up a whole squad. Most of the teams I have played with know exactly where to run and stuff. I was playing with XxX before I joined up with TTP, I don't know if there server still is up, but they did alot of 6v6's.

Re: cybergamer 6v6
I occasionally play on a 16 vs 16 no bunny hoping / no dolphin diving server (yes . . . can you believe I don't HAVE to bunny hop??) - and even that totally changes the dynamic of things . . . I can only imagine 6 on 6.
I have trouble believe that a Kelderos / Nihilanth / Reject Wolf / Gato / Tamato / Trigger team wouldn't do pretty well for itself though, no matter the environment.

Re: cybergamer 6v6
I played CAL for a bit, but it was pretty boring, and the community is filled with jackasses, hackers, 13 year olds, and any combination of the three. The game is repetitive with just infantry, or small maps. It was always nice for a change of pace, but the team I was on was filled with egos, which probably turned me off of it real badly. Although, I did like the mod that CAL used for BF2, called BF2 Pro. Made the guns more accurate, and fixed the gun sounds. Although our team had a few high points every now and then when we (by we I mean the three ego maniacs) put there egos aside and just played like a team. I remember when we whooped the top BF2 TWL team, but then we lost against another upstart team the next game... The one thing that is very important in 6 v 6 is getting to the flag first, because if you don't then it can be very hard to get near the flag since everyone can use cover effectively, which is not often used by many pub players.
Bottom Line, it is fun with good people you know well, not a team of skilled players who assembled randomly.
