Some of the options PR has as far as modes and numbers of players are great, but underplayed on our normal server. Most folks haven't played any of the 16 or 32 player maps and I haven't seen any servers period playing the Command and Control mode maps. If they were 'special events', then perhaps folks would play since they would know what they were getting into ahead of time.

Re: PR Top 5 or PR Non-Insurgency...any chance of a server?
So I had an epiphany last night, while playing the worst round of PR EVER. I agree, people JUST DON'T GET IT when it comes to being insurgents. Hoodleheads rush forward trying to go toe-to-toe with the US / Brits / etc, instead of being what..... INSURGENTS.
Face it... a single action rifle against an M16, the single action is going to loose every time.
BUT, a small IED placed in the middle of the road vs. a full HUMVEE or STRYKER, I tell ya, it's great to know everyone inside it is bitching about dying with no warning! (Disclaimer: I have been a member of the US armed forces, and know full well the harsh reality of IEDs, and in no way support their real-life use, etc etc)
Add to that the ability to booby-trap the area near caches, and funnel the vehicles into the area that are easiest for them to be destroyed (with the AT-IED's, because face it, they're hard to miss when driving down the road, unless it's a small bridge and you hide it in a corner.... :2 ) by the rest of the team with the AT kits, or lots of automatic rifles.
However, people don't seem to want to act like insurgents. Instead, they try to be like the Brits, or Russians, or whoever, and fight them like a normal map. It DOESN'T WORK!!!
So, let your teammates set up booby-traps, IED's, whatever, to funnel the enemy into your trap. Don't rush out blindly - watch where you're walking so you don't blow that grenade trap. And most importantly, STAY HIDDEN until you've achieved a superior position! With as many buildings as there are you can hide in, an entire squad could pin down a HUGE enemy force just by being elevated on the 2nd or 3rd floor, with grenade traps set so the enemy can't get to you! Pin the enemy in, and drop the molitovs, and watch your side win!
But, people are more concerned with being non-team players, and not watching where they walk, getting the accidental TK, and immediately punishing for it.
For me, put me as a sapper - I've been hooked ever since I blew up my first full HUMVEE. Every STRYKER or Bradley crossing a bridge that I've blown since then has only added to the addiction! :10

Ambush is the key to insurgents winning, and it doesnt have to be on the cache if there is a way to funnel the enemy in.
Al basrah if the enemy is denied their bridges then they are going to be in only a few key spots.
Ramiel has few entrances into the city from the south....
Fallujah has two main exits of the USMC main and two main roads through town...
Karbala... hide in the city, make them get out of their vehicles
I believe a special night for insurgency is in order, just so that folks that really like those maps can get together and have a good time.
