    Downloading PR

Hey I've decided to give PR a shot. 2 things

    1. How do I switch between PR and Vanilla? (New to mods)

    2. Is it going to change my settings?

1.) There will be an icon on your desktop for PR, just double click and your good to go.

Don't forgot to download both core AND level files, install core first, followed by levels.

2.) It shouldn't, remember to keep your resolution above 800x600 though, or else you will crash to desktop (CTD)

I don't know what you mean by line but I also use 1440x900. I'll put this link up just in case you need it. I use this program to give me a wider range of vision since I use a widescreen.

One thing you may notice is that PR will turn auto-reload off, so when you want vanilla again and want auto reload, you have to re check it in settings.

Change your resolution by your shortcut. Copy and paste this into your shortcuts 'target' window:
    "C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" start /AFFINITY 2 +modPath mods/pr +menu 1 +widescreen 1 +szx 1440 +szy 900

XP users can lose the (x86)
Users with single cpu can lose the AFFINITY 2

It does two things I can notice,
    Turns auto reload off,
    Makes the crosshair color white.

    Re: Downloading PR

You can solve the problem with vanilla cursor color and auto-reload being unchecked by setting those options the way you want them in vanilla first, then setting your General.con file to read-only; in PR, everything will still behave the same. You won't be able to change any other settings or add new favorite servers until you make the file read-write again, but I don't think that's a big problem for most people.

PR does this, by the way, because those options have been removed from the PR menu system, and so the game removes them from the settings files (and the cursor color is set by a python script anyway, which is why it always shows up at 20% opacity in grey instead of what you set it to, even when the file is read-only).

    Hey pale,

Does setting bf2 to run only in one core help with lag issues? I've heard of this before.
