BF2 won't load

I just had the same problem. Did you happen to install DX10 for XP? If so this is your problem.

I've fixed mine . If you answer yes I'll walk you through the fix.

Okay, I got my problem fixed. I made the mistake of doing EXACTly what you said rather than thinking about it and deleting the video.con files of 0002, 0003, 0004, and 0005. Thanks for the help guys!

Ahh yes. I forgot if you have multiple profiles that each profile's video.con has to be deleted.

I had to go through this when I started using a widescreen monitor.
