what version did you download and install?

Red Server name either means......server down or wrong version.

reading some of your posts in here...i'm going with wrong version...in .85 server filters are preset and can't be changed....so...yea.

Oh, so maybe it's something wrong with my filters that I've applied? I know it was v.85, though, I downloaded it from the links from the site.

Yes, I did.

To be a little more specific on the problem, when I click on the shortcut, it says "Windows is searching for BF2.exe. To find the file yourself, click browse."

the thing i don't get is how you could change server filters when in .85 that option was removed...all filters are preset and can't be changed..you can't even see that screen.

i would suggest.. uninstalling both core and levels... restart your computer...and then re install core then levels..

or click PR.Exe in the pr folder.

Okay, I uninstalled it, reinstalled it, and now it works. It was probably not working because I'm an idiot and installed it like five times in three different folders trying to make it work. Thanks for the help.

Ironically, I won't be able to play much until next weekend due to house rules XD
