    VOIP Question

I have a mic, but it hasn't worked at all in any of the games I've played, nor in the tests. What exactly do I have to do to make it work? I've read somewhere that there are specific channels for BF2 voicechat.

It shouldbe plug and play for the most part is your computer reading that is hooked up you could have a bad input connection on the board or something. If it is reading it then try going to your control panel and setting it up.

Also if it's a USB mic ( and some analogs that have drivers), be sure in your windows sound setup, that it says the name of your device and not the name of your sound board in the little drop down window under voice/recording.

    Re: VOIP Question

It's a USB mic, but I know it works in general (I use it for L4D). However, I might have fixed this (I turned down the meter for the sound test in Audio Options to 0%, and it worked), but I haven't been able to try it out on the server (it was full all last night).
