Awesome Teamwork
Normally I HATE the huge maps. I can't fly or gun very well, so I leave that up to other team members until I get better. What usually happens is I spend 5 minutes getting near the enemy then get blasted and start over.
Today playing in Digital's squad changed my opinion of the huge maps. Watching 5 guys bail out of a chopper and land on an enemy held flag was one of the coolest things I have seen in this game yet.
Digital - If the revolution comes I want you piloting my blackhawk.

RE: Awesome Teamwork
shoot, you shoulda saw it before they changed the vehicle capping and nerfed the blackhawks...talk about unstoppable...you used to be able cap a flag w/o getting out of a vehicle, ie, 1 blackhawk = 6 people on a flag...while just hovering...no need to get out. and then add powerful arse chainguns the bh used to have...rawr :P
but yeah, a transport chopper full can be quite the force. alot of my highest scoring games was from simply being a transport heli pilot and being a flag capping machine with a full heli...no kills...all team points...flag caps, assists, driver kill assists, driver ability points (resup, heal, repair)...rawr! :P ideal transport crew...
pilot - med
guns - either 2 resupply or med and resupply
and a coupla engs repairing away
then the stragler can be whoever
weet.
stalemate and mashtuur are just delicious :P

they certainly did weaken the hell out of the BH's guns. Too bad.
But, I can't stand people that were using the choppers to hover over flags. But the only reason they could do that was because people were too stupid to shoot them down. Cant think of how many BH's I jumped up and tossed C4 the belly of. Run off.....let you guys capture the flag....then BLAM.
I get 6 kills, plus I get the flag back.
Masthuur with the BH.......just nasty. SJT and I went on a 70-0 run or something just circling around the map, high above the range of rpg's, and moving fast enough to avoid TOW and tank fire.
Now...you can shoot all day at someone on the ground, and you'd be lucky to give them a bloody nose.
stupid game.

I think they should make the BH's mini-gats truly gross. I mean the thing is ripe for anti-tank fire when hovering, at least give them some punch to offset such a weakness. But NOOOOO, I've leveled a mini-gun at a guy from about 30 yards away, and hit nothing but air. Yes, yes, i'm a poor gunner...I know. But the BH should overcompesate for that by throwing thousands of rounds into a small area. You shouldn't have to a be a good shot to get insane kills on the mini's. Y'know... "point and click". Complete crap....

Well I think our engineers could take 10 minutes and mount us up some Rocket pods and put us a few hell-Fire missles on the Bh.....heck just 4 HF missles would be sufficient......then maybe they would run some when they saw it coming instead of gathering up rocks to throw at it.....

I remember all that... I think they need to go back to some of it. As it stands now, the most deadly thing a BH can do is drop its nose and ram a tank. I mean we're not talking about real life, but geez, a mini-gun is nasty... and should have remained so. Now its like throwing spit wads. Stupid, like Bigdig said.
