Squad glitch?

I have been playing Battlefield 2 on ttp server way too much this week. Several times while going into the second round of a map i will be assigned to a squad. Problem is I cannot communicate with the squad members and it appears as though there are seven members in the squad. I am unable to leave the squad and must quit and reload the map. In fact last week when it happened i was able to communicate with MRKNUKKLES' squad but he was on the opposing team. Anyone else having this problem?

that's a first. Never heard of being able to communicate with an enemy squad over VOIP

Wow it's been going on since '07. Guess i'll just deal with it. I tried reloading the software and update 1.41 but that did not rectumfy the problem.

Dave - it hasn't happened to me since that thread back in late 2007. Basically I don't hit any keys, click a mouse, etc., when the map switches from round 1 to round 2.

I've seen this happen most on servers that use the team randomizer function. Not nearly as much on other servers.

I think he's mistaken by that. Sometimes when glitched when a member of your own squad talks in VOIP, their names will turn up red instead of green in the corner. It doesn't mean their on the other team.

No he was definitely on the other team. Knuckles and I were shooting at each other and talking at the same time. Only happened that one time though. The seven man squad happened several times.

Heh...I've seen the squad go up to 9 before.Odd.Usually,when you are glitched,you can't spawn on the squadleader,or communicate with the rest of the squad.Many times you can hear them,but they won't hear you.

Just one thing though,when you do find yourself squad glitched,type out in big caps that you are glitched,so you don't get kicked for not being in a squad.You may show up as squadded on your screen,but to most everyone else,you will come up as unsquadded. Be sure to get the admins attention.

The best way to avoid it,is as badprimer said....don't thouch anything until the squads are reset,and the timer starts.
