We've updated Cortex to version 1.33. Here's the new features for you:
Added Battlefield 2142 support. We're running the latest version 1.01, so if you just bought the game you'll need to install the 1.01 patch in order to play. You can grab the 1.01 patch here. Those that can run ranked Battlefield 2 can also run ranked Battlefield 2142 servers. We are a ranked Battlefield 2142 provider. We've got a FAQ on our forums that explains how to enable your server to run ranked BF2142 instances. Please note the restrictions to running ranked BF2142 servers, notably that you may not resell ranked Battlefield 2142 servers unless you are a ranked provider. We're working on 2142cc support, but have run into issues starting ranked servers in 2142cc. Once we get that fixed we'll make another update.

This is commen with EA and games in the last three yrs or so.....stay patient - and believe, we'll be watching the news nonstop.

So, our host has the game on tap (when released) and admin software in the pipe......

anyways, on friday, some poor bastard at bestbuy is going to have a shitty day. going to print all the emails, and other relevant info... and if there is so much as one copy in the whole damn building, the first employee i see is in for a shit-storm

I ordered mine on EA a while back - got it through EA downloader - installed fine, no disk request. That part of it has been pretty decently executed.

It sucks that you guys are having trouble with BB.

checked my email today, to see if there were any updates before i called bestbuy...

the bottom one was the first email, saying the release date was 11/21. the next one up said it had changed to 11/18. next one said it changed (again) to 10/18. and, well, you can see what the last one says.

about fucking time.
