Why does EA hate me

As some of you may know, i use to only have dial-up, which reduced me to playing against bots, JOY! That didn't stop me cause i still though bf2 was a great game, which is why i bought Spec. Forces and played that. Then i bought the booster pack. Armored Fury and Euro Force, fun right, no! You must register online and play an online account to use and at 56kps is loads of fun with the constant crashes and connection errors even in single player, JOY! Then comes the day i finaly get high speed, finally a chance for real action. It was like christmas, i opened a new account and got right into the action on the vanilla. A few months went by and i started getting a little bord so i decided to install the booster packs, new computer along the way. And what do i find, you can only register the pack to one account. Hmm, JOY! i don't know the info for my old account, nor do i want that name circulating around the net. OH goody a $15 useless CD, booklet, and case. Even better, EA discontinues the booster pack so the only place you can get it is online... for $20. And yes im that cheap. Alwell, EA you got me.

Few weeks ago, gamestop magically finds a copy of the booster pack and will let it go for $10, AHHHH HAPPY DAYS!!!

After about three weeks to ship form New York to Connecticut, i finally get it in my arms, ah my precious.

I loved Battlefield, and I still hop on 2142 occasionally, but this is why I'm a Source guy these days. A useless and retarded account system that is broken in every way it can be broken, poor connections, load times and waits that take forever, frequent packet loss, idiotic punkbuster implementation, and customer support that I don't even want to talk about. Getting into a server is a chore. Staying in is a miracle. Assuming you can even get the game to start.

I have your answer.

I called EA when that same shit happened to me, I spoke to a real live person, yes not a machine. I told him the whole story and explained the pain and suffereing EA put me through (you must be able to bullshit).

He then sent me a link to my email which sent me to EA downloaded, which I downloaded. He created an account for me and sent me that info as well. When I logged into the EA downloader he had the boster packs there for me to download and install. He said that there was a problem with the booster packs they were selling and this was the only fix.

Half the reason no one plays those is because no one could install them. I love those maps. The heli with the little machine guns is so SF...

I hate EA for giving me a fake cd key. The cd key they gave me was "documented as real but not activated" says EA. So now I have to buy BF2 again in order to play the fucking game. They also said that if the next game i buy is also a fake, they are not responsible for that problem. The people they say are responsible, is the store. Well you give the store the product, its not thier fault. I dont know if i should spends 10 bucks on another BF2 and then find out its also a fake cd key and not get a refund.

Repent, NEVER i will always view enginer kits as the laim class do to my sucking with the kit and the tactics it involves, when ever i pick one up its the same situation as the JEEP with anything other than an AT kit,

but Darken has shown me the path of the inlightenment, calling EA is the solution, then crying like a little girl like i did and hope fully they will give you a pitty sign up, but seriously call 1 (650) 628-1005 and select to talk to a tech HUMAN and they can register you online, just have the account name, email adress, and reg codes for the booster pack and vanilla

Have faith in EA.... they're learning from their mistakes... really... you can find some EA games on steam now and more seem to be trickling in from time to time... now if they'd just put the battlefield series in steam... sigh
