Thanks, that took care of it. I showed about 90-100 in 2142. Yeah, right. When it's laggy on the Titan, more like 9-10...

Now that I know how to disable it,I may have to run it at the same time as Fraps, just to see if they get the same readings.

I'm having a somewhat different experience... games crash and comp freezes.

Task Manager shows "Fader" is Not Responding. The problem continues even though I have closed X-Fire. Causing me to need a reboot to clear it all up.

So, no X-fire for me until they clean up their mess.

Sure that isn't your video drivers or something else? If it does it,when X-Fire isn't running, how can it be X-Fire?

I will clarify my statement: Comp locks up, or I get disconnected from server, I "attempt" to shut down X-Fire, but because the "Fader something or another" is not responding, my comp remains frozen.

I must press reset to kill the freeze out. Now when I do not start or run X-Fire, I do not have this complication.

I have repeated this scenario several times to verify the potential source. Since X-fire is the only program that had been updated immediately prior to these symptoms appearing, and coincidentally the problems others are experiencing at the same time, I conclude the issue originated with X-Fire.

And while X-fire is not running, everything operates normally.
