Less than two months after its worldwide release, Metal Gear Solid 4 has been spotted in Sofmap bargain-bins in Japan. Sofmap, the retailer in question, could be the only one offering the game at a discount, however.

Amazon Japan is still selling Konami's stealth-action game for around $70 so we're chalking this up to a single retailer's sale and not an overall price cut.

It will, however, help sales for Metal Gear Solid 4 in Japan. There is no word on any official price drop in Japan or any other country at this time.
