How to install BF2?

Since I've got my new HDDs installed I now have plenty of space to install all of my games. I have the "Complete Battlefield Collection". Is there anything specific I should know about installing like I have to do with BF2142?

To ensure a proper installation of the Battlefield 2 series, please install in the following order. If you do not have all of the expansion and booster packs, please skip and install the next software on the list.

1. Install Battlefield 2.
Note: If you have the Battlefield 2 Deluxe pack, install and skip to step 3.
2. Install Battlefield 2: Special Forces.
3. Install the 1.41 full patch, which can be found here.
4. Install Battlefield 2: Armored Fury.
5. Install Battlefield 2: Euro Force.
6. Install the 1.41 full patch once again.

Once this is done, you will have the complete installation of the Battlefield 2 series lineup.

IIRC, you'll also need to download the full Highway Tampa map

Don't sweat it. If you have the Complete Collection....it does the magic install itself. Just let it run.....It will pause for a while between steps. When it asks you the first time if you want to restart,tell it "no".....it will move on to the next steps.....

Funny you say that, I came back in this thread right now specifically to say I might install PR as well. LOL

Now that I have some real HDD space, I'll probably pick up a few TTP games and try them out.

You also need to install Highway Tampa.

So...

BF2
SF
Tampa
Patch 1.41

... also make sure your mic is plugged in so you can test it out when the install is complete.
