Custom Battlefield 2 Mouse Pads - Come Get Some!
After talking with a few mods, I'm moving forward with this.
What?
I'm going to start selling custom Battlefield 2 mouse pads. I make and sell t-shirts as a side gig and I realized that with the equipment I have I can make some pretty sweet BF2 Mouse Pads. Here are a couple actual examples:
(Ignore the crooked BF2 Logo on the Assault Pad)
The mouse pads are 1/4" thick and 9.25" x 7.75". The image prints clearly with clean edges and it won't flake away or anything unless you do some truly epic stuff with your mouse. Here is the description of the pad from the manufacturers site:
"Our mouse pads have a natural rubber base with a very bright white (other colors available) high resolution polyester fabric top... Ideal for all types of transfer printing!"
Why?
Honestly? Because I'm a nerd and I like the way the mouse pads turn out and I think you guys would really like them. With the time it takes and whatnot, I'm really not making much money on these (think under $2). I'm not doing it for the money anyway, although the $1 to TTP is a nice addition (good suggestion Kel). Like I mentioned in my original PM to the mods I know, I'm doing this more for the community and mostly because I'm nerdy as hell.
How much?
After really thinking it through, and getting a few suggestions, I've settled on $9 shipped (within the U.S.) for each pad. $1 of every sale will go to TTP. How will I prove this? I'm not really sure but maybe a screenshot of my Paypal transfer or something. It will be done!
How can I trust you with my hard earned...Hamilton?
Well besides the fact that I've been kicking around this server for the last couple of years, I have a ebay user account with 15000+ feedback at 99.8% - safadesigns. I also have another with 1500+ feedback. I will not screw you. Intentionally.

Customization
Like I said I can print damn near anything you want on the pad. I've attached some mock-ups at the bottom of this post. My apologies to the people who's sigs I used, hope you don't mind. Hopefully the mock-ups give you an idea of what I can print. At the most basic, there will be a pad available for each class as in the actual pics above. I can also include sigs. You have a screenshot of you knifing your perfect victim? Lets enshrine the moment in the rubbery goodness of a mouse pad.
How do I order?
Post in this thread or PM me with your request. I will keep an updated list with all the orders here and update accordingly. Your request can be as simple as "Vis, give me the USA AT mouse pad" or as complex as "I want the MEC sniper on the left, with my sig on the bottom right and the bf2 logo up top". The world is your oyster.
How do I pay?
Ideally? With Paypal. I will also accept personal checks and money orders. And sheckles.
How long will it take?
This probably isn't going to be an issue since I'm not expecting a crazy amount of orders but I do have other gigs and these things take some time to make. I will try to get your pad to you within 7 days of payment. Please bear with me if it takes longer than that. I will let you know.
So I guess that's it. Let me know if you have any questions. Below are the mock ups I made to give you guys an idea of what is possible. The actual pads look white like in the actuals above, I made them a little gray in the mock-ups because the white looks a bit jarring. Someone order one of these quick so I can make it and take actual pics!
Hope that wasn't too many. I kind of went nuts with the mock-ups. Thanks for looking.

Nice, way to market your product with the cream at the top.
Is it one of the foldable mouse pads or is it a hard immovable piece of plastic? If you were given the funds to buy a 'gaming' pad would you be able to put an image on it?

Well, I quit using a mouse pad when I shared a computer with the family. My dad would always eat while he was on the computer and would get stuff like jam on the pad so it would always stick. Eventually I just took the mouse pad away because it was too hard to clean so I have been using a padless surface for a while now.
