Re: A message from your SL
Firing from the SL's position gives their position away. Squad members should move away from the SL before engaging the enemy. By the way, don't always take the same path. If you and your squad mates act like ants and form a line back to your SL it makes it easy for he enemy to find them.
From what i gather though, everyone (admin's included), need to have a cup of shut-the-$%^-up, take a few to chill... - Bunni

Re: A message from your SL
Lots of good opinions in this post but having served as a real life squad leader in a light infantry platoon my standards of leadership differ a bit. A good squad leader:
- Leads by Example
- Trains from Experience
- Maintains and Enforces Standards
- Takes care of Soldiers
- Adapts to a Changing World
Sure you can kick your whole squad if you decide. In my opinion that just shows weakness. As I take on the squad leader role more often now I will make the effort to educate the FNGs. Yes they will make mistakes but the squad leader is there to correct those mistakes. Lead by example.
Needed to be said because I joined a squad the other night. The squad leader picked a flag to attack. Two enemy APCs decided to defend this particular flag. Our entire squad was wiped out. Our squad leader out of frustration i suppose decided to kick the entire squad except for a fellow clanmate. WEAK!

Re: A message from your SL
As a new SL I only care about a few things that my squadies must follow:
Call out contact by compass bearing
DO NOT engage unless you can actually hit your target
Be sure to swap kits. Pick up the HAT, pick up medic and revive SL first, others second
Follow orders, but feel free to make suggestions
Play as a team, have fun and push the objectives.
