This reminded me of one. If I'm in a fast mover, which I often am, for the love of God don't start firing at any damn attack chopper you see. I will let you know when to light it up, in fact I'll stop and if its a DPV I'll adjust the car. But if the damn bird is right over us and I'm trying to get to a flag, you're just going to call attention to us and get someone 3 easy kills.
Also don't shoot at armor in the fastmover either. You're only going to dent it with the peashooters, and you'll just get them to turn around and shoot/report back. This also usually applies if you are in the transport helos.

get off your SL's ass (unless otherwise specified and/or if they need health or a revive :P). case(s) in point...

    spread out-
while it's nice and cute and cuddly to all move together, shoulder-to-shoulder, just one good nade/bomb/arty and you'll all be respawning together as well (due to the nice, big, juicy target). if spread out more, there is a greater chance that someone survived one of the said scenarios and can work on getting squad mates revived, with priority given to the SL of course also while spread out some (as opposed to bunched up and/or single-file), it gives the squad as a whole a bigger perspective/field-of-view of the surroundings. with that said...if feasible, try to maintain no more than a 13-14 second distance from your SL, just in case they need a revive. feasible being/assuming you're not on a 'special' task such as AT/C4/point-man/etc, that could jeopardize/draw fire to the SL. oh, and most especially spread out if defending.

    move/attack!-
if your SL is ducked back hiding in the woods 40M from a flag and just laying low, unless otherwise specified, move to/attack the flag! especially if it has a nice big yellow/orange "move/attack here" icon/smoke on it! :P i can't count the number of times i've been trying to stay low and quiet so the squad can push into a flag, only find half of them nipping at my heels, not going for the flag...then by the time it 'clicks' after that 1 poor soul attempted by himself for the 5th time, it's also clicked for the enemy and the attack gets compromised.

    maintain awareness-
while it's a little more-so for the SL, it's still everyone's responsibility to maintain an awareness of the battlefield, at least/particularly around the current objective.

most importantly: think! (and have fun )

This game is not about having fun, it's about winning.

Wrong as usual Snipe! It's about having fun while winning! It can also be fun even if you are losing if it's a competitive match.

    However winning is the goal!

Re: A message from your SL

On maps like Wake and dragon where the F35 is so over matched by the J10, at the begining of the game at least, the jets should be used by SQUAD LEADERS so that they can jump out and have their squad members spawn on them at important flags.

Latley I have witnessed non squad members and squad members.....not leaders.... take those jets and leave other SLs standing their holding their D**** waiting for the jet to come back while their SMs are holding spawn.

SL on the aircraft carrier waiting on a jet....should not have to compete with a non SL to get that jet.

    That is not team play!

I'm not as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I ever was!
